Watching Nancy Botwin do her thing was always supernatural experience. Morally or ethical in same category as breaking bad, with exclusion of life threatening illness and inclusion of much more aesthetic pleasing main character. Mary Louise Parker is using sex instead of chemistry but also for purpose of getting on top of specific drug dealing niche. Weeds is at same time shocking and extremely funny, which works well for me. Also cast is magnificent, to mention a few: Alexander Gould as Shane Botwin, Hunter Parrish as Silas Botwin, Justin Kirk as Andy Botwin, Kewin Nealon as Doug Wilson and all others are just where they all should be for this masterpiece. Took 7 years to create this little weed world and Jenji Kohan managed to get great story out in the end. Also be warned that main theme song little boxes will be started in humming form any time now. It is that catchy. So to resume this review slam putup brilliant american dark comedy series created by Jenji Kohan and produced by Tilted Productions in association with Lionsgate Television. We like weeds, enjoy.
